Senior Principal’s Message

Dr. George Ogochi

Welcome to Mobamba high school. We are happy to witness this very important milestone. We thank God for the many blessings He continues to bestow upon us.

Mobamba High school is a modern mixed boarding school that puts God at the centre of everything done in our school. We are proud of our sponsor- Church of God in East Africa (K) which feeds us with spiritual nourishment.

Our school offers one of the broadest Curriculum in our region. In addition to the common subjects, our school offers French, Music, Computer Studies, Home Science, Aviation Technology and Mandarin (Chinese language). These additional subjects provide our students with a chance to effectively compete for the ever-diminishing opportunities.

Mobamba High school has maintained exemplary academic performance over the years. We thank our teaching and non-teaching staff for exceptional commitment and zest for success. Our BOM, PA and other stakeholders are performing their roles very well thus the good results being posted year in year out.

We have also done well in co-curricular activities with Drama teams effectively participating at National competitions last year in Embu.

In preparation to receive our first CBC class in 2026, we have expanded our sporting activities, increased laboratory space and enhanced creative and Arts department. This, therefore, means that our school is ready for the three pathways.
